MHI Hotels is a private,
family-owned company that has been in the hospitality business for 49
years. We have an established reputation as a company that values its
employees. We strive to hire the best, give them the tools and then
support them to be successful. We provide the structure while allowing
property management the flexibility to create their own success. We
believe devoutly in a team approach.
MHI is a slow growth company. Our goal is to add 1-2 properties annually
to our portfolio.
MHI consistently scores among the top-third in franchise inspections and
guest satisfaction surveys. We are adamant about maintaining a quality
product through annual capital expenditures.
MHI's Hilton Jacksonville is the only Hilton franchisee to be recognized
as the best hotel in the system for customer satisfaction. Likewise, the
Hilton Savannah DeSoto has been recognized as the #1 hotel in the Hilton
system for greatest REVPAR increase in a single year.
All MHI properties participate in an executive bonus program based on
property key performance indicators. Payouts are 5-15% of annual salary.
In addition there is an employee-wide incentive program at most
properties with payouts based on bottom line income.
Our management tell us one of the things they like the best about MHI is
that they work directly with the principles of the company. Decisions
can be made quickly and decisively.
MHI believes our success begins by hiring the best people. We do not
burden property staff with excessive reporting, stringent SOP's etc.
